Job Title: Recruitment Director - Engineering & Manufacturing
A unique opportunity to join a market-leading business and shape the manufacturing department/plant.
The Job:
* Reporting into the Plant Manager, working closely with the plant leadership team, production, engineering, etc.
* Help set up the processes and procedures of the plant, overseeing installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
* Create and maintain process documents e.g., work instructions, FMEA, SOPs, risk assessments.
* Assist with training and mentoring, instilling a safety culture and a professional, supportive, collaborative, and inclusive environment.
The Person:
* Degree or HNC or equivalent in Process, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
* Willingsness to do occasional short trips to other European plants for knowledge transfer and training (2-3 days at a time, once or twice per year).
* Good communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and implement efficient manufacturing processes and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, including process maps and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement and well-being.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to travel occasionally to other European locations for training and knowledge transfer.
