Are you a Structural Engineer with an interest in remedial design in the mining and resources sector? TalentWeb is on the hunt for experienced Structural Engineers for a permanent, full-time opportunity with a consultancy in Mackay.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
* Undertaking remedial structural design including computer-based analysis of mining/marine/transport infrastructure structures with predominantly concrete and some steelwork;
* Expand the presence through effective stakeholder management;
* Manage ongoing critical projects with a key focus on safety and quality;
* Acting as client contact as appointed for specific projects;
* Traveling to existing mining assets in remote areas of Australia, undertaking dilapidation reports and liaising with the client on effective asset lifecycle extension.
To be successful in your application we are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
* A Bachelor Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering;
* Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience;
* Advanced knowledge and experience in using structural analysis software packages such as Strand7;
* Sound knowledge and experience in remedial structural design, analysis, client/stakeholder management and project delivery.
