Concreter
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Concreter to contribute to Council's success.
* Permanent Full Time, 9-day fortnight with team currently trialling 8-day fortnight
* Located at Gladstone Depot

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to support Council's direction by efficiently undertaking concrete formsetting, concreting, repairs and new construction activities and undertaking a wide range of maintenance, repair and improvement tasks of Council's civil infrastructure within the Gladstone Region.
You will bring:
1. Relevant trade qualification and/or equivalent level of expertise and experience in concreting and formsetting, including concrete finishing.
2. Demonstrated labouring skills to carry out maintenance activities on a daily basis.
3. Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) license.
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
5. Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
6. Basic keyboard skills and experience and competency using technical devices.
7. Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).

This position requires immunisation against Hepatitis A/B and Tetanus.
