Speech Pathologist Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.
* Caseload of NDIS clients with a variety of disabilities
* Work with children (7 yrs.+) and adults in their homes, schools / community
* Supervision and support from experienced senior clinician and external mentor
* Opportunity to work with AAC, swallowing/dysphagia, complex communication needs
* Work in interdisciplinary team (OTs, speech pathologists, positive behaviour support practitioners)
The role requires the ability to assess and diagnose swallowing disorders, write information that is accessible for everyone, and be driven to succeed and committed to continuous learning.
Requirements:
* Qualified Speech Pathologist with energy and commitment to working with people with a disability
* Member of Speech Pathology Australia
* Understanding of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems or willingness to learn
* Ability to assess and diagnose swallowing disorders
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
