The Opportunity
The Receptionist and Office Manager will be responsible for greeting visitors, handling queries, and maintaining a pleasant office environment. This role also entails general office administrative support and management.
Responsibilities:
* Receive and direct visitors, offer refreshments as needed.
* Manage diaries, meeting room bookings, and conference calls.
* Sort and distribute mail, prepare outgoing mail, arrange courier pickups, and deliveries.
* Manage the reception inbox, directing emails appropriately.
* Maintain office and kitchen supplies proactively.
* Communicate with management and WH&S representatives regarding health and safety matters.
* Coordinate IT equipment requirements for the office.
* Track incoming and outgoing courier bookings, and manage them accordingly.
* Assist teams with onboarding and termination processes for office staff.
* Participate in initiatives to improve workplace health and safety.
* Oversee the Queensland office remotely.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have demonstrated experience and skills in administration or coordination, preferably in the healthcare sector, particularly aged care or disability services.
Requirements:
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* High autonomy and initiative to take ownership of actions and responsibilities.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
