Job Description
Mercy Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service in south-west metropolitan Melbourne. The Registrar Program is a two-year training program for new graduate psychologists, providing diverse experience in acute, community, residential and perinatal settings. The role is full time (including ADO) for a fixed term of 2 years, commencing February ****.

Key Responsibilities
Provide neuropsychological consultation to consumers and clinicians across adult and older adult mental health services
Conduct specialist neuropsychological assessments, recommendations, interventions and education focused on recovery, person-centred care and effective outcomes
Participate in individual and group supervision, and meet professional development requirements of the Psychology Board of Australia Registrar Program
Active participation in team meetings, multidisciplinary team consultations and contribution to formulation, diagnosis and treatment planning
Promote a psychologically safe work environment and contribute to service improvement initiatives
Work within scope of practice, prioritise safety, wellbeing and professional growth
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of a Master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from an APAC accredited postgraduate course
Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, eligible to complete a Registrar Program for Clinical Neuropsychology endorsement; applicants who will achieve general registration by the end of January **** are accepted
Commitment to recovery-oriented framework and compassionate, flexible and positive approach to consumer care
Excellent clinical, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to adapt and problem-solve
Ability to nurture respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Evidence Required
Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations as required by public health orders
