Purpose of the Job
Accelerate growth in Mining chemicals to exceed the near to longer term targets. Tap on existing experience and contacts to generate leads, identify and commercialize opportunities for growth in the relevant Mining chemicals. Development & execution of Mining sales strategy within Asia (Excluding China, Korea, Japan).
Job Responsibilities
* Foster and build business relationships with new & existing customers, distributors, partners and all appropriate business channels.
* Managing Sales by leveraging Value Selling and Margin Management.
* Leverage on technical services to imbed solutions in the mining value chains, end customer's and channels.
* Coordinate internal interface between Customer Service, Technical Service and the regional/global Sales and Marketing Team.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and leveraging internal & external relationships at these accounts.
* Ensures that all Sales & Marketing activities are in strict compliance with Nouryon 's Business and Anti-Competition Principles.
* Provide a competitive Market Intelligence and a Market Map.
* Identify/commercialize new business opportunities.
* Leading the sales activities to protect, defend existing business.
* Managing the project pipeline and increasing the fill for the sustainability of the business.
* Value selling, margin management to optimize profitability.
* Maintaining accurate demand forecast and pricing in the systems.
* Managing key internal and external stakeholders and position business for growth.
* Identifying and commercializing Nouryon chemistry relevant for the Mining Market.
* Capitalizing on appropriate distribution, Mining consulting and other sales channels to drive growth and imbed Nouryon chemistry.
* Exceed near to long term sales performance in-line with Mining strategy and project pipeline
* To closely contact with customer to make sure that our planning and logistics can match the customer's demand.
* Forecasting demand and minimizing overdue.
Qualifications
* 10 years' experience of sales/ marketing/ business development /technical sales in specialty chemicals in Mining.
* Minimum B. Tech. in Chemicals/ Engineering, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, B. Eng. Sales and Marketing Management post-graduation education is an advantage.
* Graduate and/or post-graduate qualifications in Mining, metallurgy would be advantageous.
