This role will support our Amazon University Talent Acquisition team in this 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.
The Campus Recruiter acts as the ambassador for Amazon at university campuses. You will maintain our presence at these institutions and stay in contact with internal teams to determine recruiting programs based on Amazon's hiring needs.
You will be responsible for all levels of campus/university recruitment, serving as a partner to the business, staying current on market trends, and providing advice on talent acquisition issues.
The Campus Recruiter will interact with university representatives and students to schedule events, interviews, and outreach activities. You will partner with university teams and other stakeholders (e.g., staffing, business leaders, alumni, student organizations) to ensure successful program implementation and maximize hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop operational plans and branding activities at assigned schools with university leads to attract top early-career talent.
2. Build relationships with placement officers, department heads, faculty/staff, alumni, and student organizations.
3. Develop, implement, and attend university events such as info sessions, tech talks, executive visits, career fairs, faculty visits, on-campus interviews, Amazon Days, and events with student organizations.
4. Manage university-specific teams, ensuring appropriate selection, clear roles, and effective preparation for visits, coordinating closely for a unified recruiting approach.
5. Screen candidates' CVs, conduct phone screens, shortlist for panel interviews, and participate in interviews.
6. Partner with university teams to assess university performance annually, review data and feedback, and make strategic decisions.
7. Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, maintaining communication throughout the recruitment process.
Basic Qualifications
1. At least 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in Campus/Graduate hiring.
2. Ability to execute campus recruiting plans, promote in the marketplace, manage candidates, and oversee the interview process.
3. Experience in managing end-to-end programs and driving continuous improvement.
4. Strong influencing skills to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems independently.
6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
7. Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge of social media recruiting tools and current market trends.
2. Analytic skills to measure and scale recruitment workflows effectively.
