This role involves supporting the Chief Operating Office (COO) and Digital Business Services (DBS) leadership team as directed by the Chief Administration Office (CAO).
The role holder will interact with internal and external parties, requiring professionalism and gravitas.
Responsibilities include:
* Governance & Documentation - ensuring governance is developed and implemented with robust documentation and management support across COO regulatory responsibilities within DBS.
* Delivery and Performance - providing information and analysis on execution against strategy and goals for the COO and DBS leadership.
* Strategy Execution - supporting research and analysis to enable delivery and implementation of DBS priorities.
* Change Execution - managing continuous improvement initiatives.
* Regulatory Compliance - supporting the COO office in executing regulatory compliance obligations.
* People Development Program - consulting and executing people development and training opportunities.
Requirements include:
* Sound business knowledge with ability to make informed decisions in challenging circumstances.
* Good understanding of HSBC structures, processes, and objectives.
* Strong knowledge of DBS functionally, operationally, and financially.
* Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis.
* Strong relationship management, collaboration, and influencing skills.
* Practical experience driving and delivering business transformation and continuous improvement.
