About the Role Provide consultation and advice to facilitate the delivery of the Intensive Family Engagement Service (IFES) program by non-government providers to meet the support needs of families and provide for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people during the service provision period. Utilising a Signs of Safety approach, work in partnership with families, service providers, relevant Agency staff and community support services to facilitate a process of continual service improvement that ensures that IFES provides a service that suits the needs of families. Coordinate the regional referrals of families to the IFES program and provide ongoing support to IFES service providers and families. We are offering Temporary from 27 November 2025 up to 12 May 2026 Full-time, 76 Hours per fortnight Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. We are looking for Essential Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment A tertiary qualification approved by the relevant National Board, for example a Bachelor of Social Work, and eligibility for membership with the relevant National Board or professional association; or An alternative tertiary qualification (AQF Level 7 Qualification) in a discipline considered relevant to the duties, for example Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology, Bachelor of Youth Work, Bachelor of Psychological Science; or An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (AQF Level 5 or 6 Qualification) in a discipline considered relevant to the duties, for example a Diploma in Community Services. The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: 1 Conviction checks in the following areas: a) crimes of violence b) sex related offences c) serious drug offences d) crimes involving dishonesty e) serious traffic offences 2 Identification check 3 Disciplinary actions in previous employment check Desirable Driver’s Licence Please note: The cost associated with obtaining a RWVP is the responsibility of the individual.
