About the role
Working closely with a Principal and a high-performing team of approximately five, this is a hands-on role offering direct exposure to clients, leadership, and advisory work.
Key responsibilitiesPrepare compliance work for a diverse client base (incl Financial statements + Tax returns + BAS and payroll tax)Produce management reporting packsAssist with advisory work alongside Managers and DirectorsManage tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7AEnsure all compliance deadlines are metCoach and mentor junior team members, including reviewing their workAbout you5+ years’ experience in a business services/accounting firmCA/CPA qualified or in progressDegree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or similarStrong technical knowledge across relevant tax legislationExperience mentoring or supporting junior staffA proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindsetProfessional, personable, and down-to-earthStrong communication skills and a team-first attitude
