Atherton Building Projects is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our skilled team in Adamstown Heights, NSW. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting construction projects, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
What you'll be doing
1. Perform a range of carpentry tasks including setouts, framing, cladding, installing doors, windows and other fixtures
2. Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to the required standard
3. Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks
4. Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
1. 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
2. Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
3. Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools
4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
5. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
