The Role
In this position, you will support our Costing team by managing and fulfilling costing requests in a timely manner. You will be instrumental in ensuring the financial accuracy of our products from production to market.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Handling costing requests from our Marketing and Product Management teams, ensuring they are completed within agreed-on timelines.
* Monitoring and actioning requests from a shared mailbox daily.
* Copying item costs between different branch plants to facilitate stock transfers and production.
* Setting up and changing production routings as requested.
* Ensuring financial data is accurately recorded and maintained within our systems (experience with JDE is a plus).
Your Knowledge and Skills
We're looking for someone who is proactive, has a strong bias for action, and can manage their time effectively.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong sense-checking abilities.
* The ability to manage competing deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues who may have varying levels of financial understanding.
