Reporting to the Project and Monitoring Senior Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
REGIONAL O&M PLANNING: Ensures the efficient and systematic planning of SS protection, secondary device and SS automation system operations and maintenance activities.
Prepares maintenance plans/package for the effective operations and maintenance of protection, secondary devices and SS automation system.
Prepares and issues maintenance orders of protection, secondary devices and SS automation system to MTD PSD & MRS and other concerned groups.
Analyzes and monitors acquired database, profile and defect management of protection, secondary devices and SS automation system as reference to planning phase.
Conducts investigation and analysis of fault clearance system failure, evaluates test results and system performance related to protection and control systems, provides condition monitoring & trending and identifies potential areas for improvement.
Coordinates with MTD DMS & SMS and other groups concerned regarding implementation of maintenance activities.
Conducts technical audit on protection, secondary devices, substation automation and facilities in the assigned AOR.
Monitors and records accomplishments, implementation of maintenance and project activities with reference to approved maintenance package and close-out of accomplished maintenance orders.
Ensures creation of systematic monitoring and updating of PSD and SAS database.
Monitors the availability of tools, equipment, materials and other supplies needed for the protection, secondary devices and SS automation system maintenance activities.
Monitors resource concerns / operational expenses of MTD DMS and SMS groups.
Ensures creation of systematic monitoring and updating of Secondary Device and SAS asset database.
Reviews and validates asset database build-up and update using SAP – EAM.
Prepares detailed plans and time‑scaled charts and diagrams.
Prepares man‑hour resources, equipment resources and cost‑loaded, time‑phased schedules.
Designs an efficient engineering schedule and prepares all workgroup packages in coordination with maintenance scheduler.
Monitors the implementation of maintenance packages and recommends measures for improvement of projects and maintenance programs.
Undertakes systematic recording, reporting, monitoring, updating, and compilation of reports, correspondences, plans diagrams, manuals, etc.
Prepares reports and presentations on various operational performance based on set targets for the assigned divisions.
Prepares documentation requirements for the request to implement the maintenance activities.
Ensures regular submission / encoding of work accomplishments, including identified findings with reference to the implemented test and inspection procedures.
Ensures availability of spare parts, materials and other supplies is needed prior to the implementation of maintenance and project activities.
Monitors SEIL implementation for SS PSD and SAS.
Implements the completion and updating of the Fixed‑Asset Boundary Documents (FABD) between NGCP and Power Customers.
Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Registered Engineer.
Two (2) years relevant experience.
Proficient in computer applications (MS Applications).
Knowledgeable in Management Systems.
Knowledgeable in preparation and presentation of Technical Reports.
Knowledgeable in Data analytics.
