About This Role
We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our financial operations from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing financial systems and policies, as well as a strong ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain robust accounting procedures and controls
* Develop and implement financial forecasting and budgeting processes
* Oversee the setup and maintenance of financial systems, including POS and PMS integrations
* Collaborate with external partners, such as auditors and consultants, to ensure readiness for launch
* Train and develop finance team members to ensure they are equipped to handle day-to-day operations
Requirements
* Prior experience in hotel finance, preferably in a pre-opening or post-opening role
* Proven ability to set up and manage financial systems, including chart of accounts and reconciliations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and department heads
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and drive decision-making
* Technical proficiency in financial software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
