Part-time (0.6FTE), fixed term for 12 months Exciting opportunity to be a Research Assistant at the Reproduction and Perinatal Centre, University of Sydney Base Salary from $83,083 pro rata 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Research Assistant is responsible for facilitating the research process in the Reproduction and Perinatal Centre (RPC) by assisting in the coordination and execution of routine research activities and data collection. They maintain research data integrity, and ensure efficient communication with survey participants. They also contribute to maintaining organised research records, readying data for presentations and reports. They will support main RPC initiated research studies and grant funded studies. Your key responsibilities will be to: assist with the coordination and execution of routine research tasks under direction. undertake participant recruitment for cohort and interventional studies as appropriate support researchers in the preliminary stages of grant application by gathering necessary data and documentation where appropriate ensure adherence to research protocols and assist with sourcing information to assist research work support data collection activities, ensuring accuracy in data entry and its storage for further analysis engage with stakeholders to address concerns and gather feedback, maintaining effective communication channels and collaborating with the team to enhance stakeholder relations undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required. About you experience in working in a research-intensive environment experience in interacting with patients and research participants experience in recruiting participants experience coordinating and/or managing grant application process experience in research administration and conducting scientific literary searches experience in carrying out literacy searches and preparing literary reviews for further analysis you will be an excellent communicator both oral and written tertiary qualifications in a relevant field ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
