Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer - Dams | AECOM, Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Job Description
AECOM is delivering critical water infrastructure projects across Australia. The Dams team works on feasibility studies, design, construction and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions.
Responsibilities
* Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration.
* Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
* Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
* Preparation of tenders and proposals and providing mentoring.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
* You are positive, and see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations.
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
