About the Role
As a Support Worker you'll deliver tailored, hands-on support to children, adults, and seniors living with disability in their homes and out in the community. You'll play an active role in helping participants build independence, maintain dignity, and access the things that matter most to them.
Your day-to-day may include:
* Personal care and domestic assistance
* Community access and social participation
* Transport and support to appointments or activities
* Supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals
* Building genuine, trusting relationships with the people you support
What We're Looking For
* A heartfelt commitment to empowering people with disability
* Strong interpersonal skills, you connect easily and communicate with care
* The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
* Local knowledge and community connection
* Relevant experience in disability or community support
Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent (or currently studying)
* Reliable personal vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
* Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or ability to obtain)
