About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team, with a focus on ensuring compliance and regulatory obligations in alignment with industry standards. This role is based in Victoria (VIC) and involves supporting the development of a Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with best practices and delivers optimal outcomes for our participants.

The Compliance Officer will:

1. Foster a culture focused on risk management by identifying, analysing, and mitigating risks.
2. Coordinate incident investigations and compliance functions across the organisation.
3. Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in compliance with industry standards.
4. Drive organisational readiness for audits, including preparation and participation.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and implement system enhancements.
6. Develop and undertake quality control processes in collaboration with clinical teams to ensure compliance.
7. Promptly investigate and report any breaches of codes or regulations.


Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

1. A strong understanding of industry principles and their impact on participants and staff.
2. Experience in managing incident investigations and ensuring compliance.
3. Able to deliver high-quality, person-focused care that meets industry standards.
4. Ability to prepare the organisation for audits and participate in them.
5. Collaborative skills to work with stakeholders to improve systems and policies.
6. Ability to develop and undertake quality control processes with clinical teams.
7. Quick response time to investigate and report any breaches.
