Overview
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of person-centred, evidence-based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The nurse will work in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups and communities, provide supervision and support for less experienced clinicians, and maintain professional accountability and development according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia Standards of Practice. All staff are expected to reflect NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment through their behaviours with patients, clients and employees.
