About the Role:
Due to sustained growth and an expanding project portfolio, our client seeks a proactive and experienced HSE Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation, standards, and client requirements.
* Oversee the development, review, and continuous improvement of HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.
* Provide guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors regarding HSE matters.
* Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and audits; ensure timely reporting and close-out of corrective actions.
* Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions.
* Collaborate with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders to ensure best-practice HSE outcomes.
To Be Successful:
* Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or higher)
* Proven experience in a HSE management role within civil construction, piling, or related sectors
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, ISO standards, and risk management frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams
* A practical, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for safety and continuous improvement
