The Role The purpose of the IT Network Officer is to ensure that agreed services are being seamlessly delivered to the Uniting AgeWell organisation. This role will streamline processes to ensure all departments and external vendors within Digital Technology work together to deliver the best outcome for Uniting AgeWell. You will play an active role within the UA team, participating in building a community-based culture that fosters a spirit of the BEST way of life, supporting our people to be their best, give their best and help our community to live their best. Day to Day Responsibilities Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors Identify customer needs and oversee service delivery within the business context Management of vendors and ensure KPI's are delivered within agreed measures with regular reporting Determine ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction Regularly assess customer feedback and using creativity to establish, improve and refine technology services Build partnerships and liaising with team leaders to determine services, delivery criteria and solutions for technology issues that may arise Manage internal network incidents that arise and keep incident management system up to date Manage Uniting AgeWell's network that provides centralised access to the company systems Support development efforts by constructing test environments, installing operating systems, managing firewall configuration. Qualifications & Experience Required Relevant Industry Qualifications. Experience configuring, deploying, and managing network infrastructure in an Enterprise environment. Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail. Excellent problem resolution skills at an operational and executive level. Proven experience with engagement of and formation of positive and effective relationships with both staff at all levels of the organisation as well as vendors. Proven experience in building partnerships and liaising with external and internal vendors to meet agreed KPI's. Highly developed organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Capacity and flexibility to cope effectively with a diverse and demanding work agenda. Capacity to effectively manage competing priorities and strict deadlines Highly motivated, energetic, outcome focused with innovative approach to your work. A satisfactory National Criminal Police Record Check (PRC) is required prior to commencement. Working With Children Check (VIC) or Registration to work with Vulnerable People (TAS). Driver's License (if required). An obligation to have an annual vaccination(s) as per our vaccination policy Capacity and willingness to travel throughout Victoria and Tasmania as required. Experience in wireless (Aruba), Switching and Routing (HP Aruba and Cisco Nexus), Cloud (Azure), Datacentre, Voice/Video/QoS, Security/Firewall (Palo Alto or similar vendors), and Microsoft Domain experience will be highly favourable.
