 
        
        We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team on a significant growth trajectory.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Asia-Pacific tax function, overseeing corporate income and indirect tax compliance for our Australian, New Zealand and Asian subsidiaries.
You will report to our Global Tax Director in North America and work closely with finance and other tax team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australia and New Zealand, including M&A tax, corporate income tax and exposure to corporate income taxes for countries in Southeast Asia.
 * Prepare, review and sign corporate income tax returns and supporting workpapers for our Australian subsidiaries.
 * Manage and collaborate with external tax advisors to complete income tax returns for our subsidiaries in New Zealand and in other Asia-Pacific countries.
 * Calculate current and deferred income taxes for our Australian, New Zealand and other Asia-Pacific subsidiaries under local GAAP and US GAAP.
 * Manage indirect taxes for our Australian, New Zealand and other Asia-Pacific subsidiaries.
 * Prepare, review, remit and file Australian GST and Business Activity Statements and New Zealand GST returns.
 * Manage tax audits with the Australian Tax Office, New Zealand Inland Revenue and other tax authorities in Asia.
 * Work with our Global M&A Senior Tax Manager and perform pre-acquisition tax planning and due diligence on potential Australian and other Asia-Pacific acquisitions.
 * Review tax-related items in opening balance sheet and purchase price accounting calculations for Australian and other Asia-Pacific acquisitions.
 * Work with our Global Tax and Treasury teams to repatriate cash using tax-efficient methods.
 * Ensure withholding tax requirements are met.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
 * A strong background in Australia and New Zealand, including M&A tax, corporate income tax and exposure to corporate income taxes for countries in Southeast Asia.
 * Experience preparing, reviewing and signing corporate income tax returns and supporting workpapers.
 * Ability to manage and collaborate with external tax advisors.
 * Knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
