The Role
Reporting to a senior finance leader, this role is a key support function within the finance team, providing hands‐on assistance across core finance operations. The position will suit someone early in their accounting career who enjoys variety, ownership of processes and working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* End-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice management and supplier reconciliations
* Managing weekly payment runs and purchase order queries
* Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Corporate credit card processing and follow‐ups
* Supporting month‐end close activities
* Assisting with accounts receivable and debtor follow‐ups
* Liaising with internal operational teams and external suppliers
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies
The Candidate
* Degree qualified in Accounting or a related discipline
* 2+ years' experience in an Assistant Accountant or finance operations role
* Strong exposure to accounts payable and cash reconciliations
* CA/CPA qualification (or working toward)
* Confident communicator with the ability to work with non‐finance stakeholders
* Well organised, detail‐oriented and able to manage competing priorities
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
* A positive, proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
