Job Title: Event Operations Manager
Job Summary:
* We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the venue's vision by developing and implementing service strategies, team culture, and operational excellence that reflect the luxury positioning of W Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop innovative beverage programming, activations, and curated experiences that align with the brand;
* Maximise talent engagement and guest satisfaction, driving business performance;
* Plan menus, maintain service and brand standards, and effectively manage liquid inventories;
* Collaborate with the venue manager to curate beverage and food programs and update beverage lists based on market trends;
* Manage daily operations, ensuring talent is briefed on service expectations;
* Foster teamwork among talent to ensure optimum service and meet guest needs;
* Complete opening and closing duties, setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors;
* Inspect storage areas for organisation, use of FIFO, and cleanliness;
* Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, counsel, discipline, motivate, and coach talent; and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
