About the role
As a legal administrator you will be responsible for supporting professional staff day to day in the management of their matters, dealing with documentation and correspondence, preparing and collating files for various purposes, entering financial information and preparing invoices and other documents.
As part of our support team, you will also contribute to monitoring incoming phone calls, assist with office administration tasks and provide ad-hoc personal assistance for professional staff.
Having a keen eye for detail is essential in this role, ensuring that the quality of work meets high standards and nothing is overlooked.

What you'll be doing
* Matter administration including maintaining client files, preparing briefs, drafting correspondence and documents, opening and closing matters, entering invoices and sending account statements, reviewing time and costs for billing, preparing draft bills, assisting with fee proposals, and general financial information.
* Client and professional staff support including assisting with preparing for meetings or court appearances, managing schedules or arranging appointments, liaising with clients in regard to administrative matters, and running errands for or providing personal assistance to professional staff.
* General administration including conducting file reviews, copying, scanning or posting, archiving, answering phones, monitoring generic mailboxes, ordering supplies and contributing to the efficient running of the office environment.
What skills you need
Essential:
* More than two years demonstrated experience in the duties of this role within the legal sector or professional services environment
* Demonstrated high level of ability using common Office 365 applications (outlook, teams, word and excel)
Desirable:
* Experience using LEAP practice management software
* Experience working in the Commercial/Property/Litigation practice areas
