The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Drupal Web Developers to support the delivery of secure, scalable web platforms within a government environment.
You will be responsible for building, customising and maintaining complex Drupal-based websites and applications. These platforms are often high-traffic and data-intensive, requiring strong backend capability, sound architecture design and an understanding of secure development practices.
Candidates based in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA and TAS are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, customise and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications
* Build and enhance backend modules using PHP
* Design and maintain scalable, secure site architectures
* Work across frontend theming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) where required
* Ensure performance, security and reliability of high-traffic platforms
* Collaborate with stakeholders, designers and technical teams
* Contribute to documentation, releases and continuous improvement
Essential Criteria
* Strong experience with Drupal development (including custom modules)
* Proven PHP backend development capability
* Experience delivering in a government or similarly regulated environment
Additional Requirements
* Australian Citizenship is mandatory
* Baseline or higher, security clearance preferred (AGSVA)
* Previous experience in a similar government role is highly regarded
