Infrastructure Project Manager, Aviation Infrastructure Programs
Overview
Our client in the aviation industry is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex technical infrastructure installations across operational environments. You'll lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver mission critical outcomes safely, on time, within scope, and on budget; while keeping stakeholders aligned and projects moving in resource constrained conditions.
Key responsibilities
* Build and maintain detailed project plans across scope, schedule, cost, dependencies, and risk
* Drive day to day delivery, track milestones, remove blockers, and resolve issues quickly to maintain momentum
* Coordinate acquisition, deployment, and installation of complex IT and operational technology hardware, including racks, servers, networking, and audio visual equipment
* Lead technical cutover and rollback planning for mission critical systems to minimise disruption and manage operational risk
* Ensure all site activities comply with WHS principles and safety procedures
* Manage stakeholders across multiple technical disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, network communications, radio, and structural
* Foster collaboration, ownership, and practical problem solving across delivery teams and vendors
What you'll bring
* Proven experience delivering technical infrastructure projects in operational, high reliability, or regulated environments
* Aviation experience is highly desirable
* Strong capability in planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, and stakeholder engagement
* Confidence working with technical teams across IT and OT, plus construction and services disciplines
* Calm, structured delivery style; able to operate effectively when resources are tight and priorities shift
Mandatory requirements
* Australian Citizenship is required
* Must be Australian eligible for Baseline clearance, and able to achieve and maintain the required clearance level
