About the Role
We are seeking a Cleaning Services Assistant to provide cleaning services contributing to a safe, clean and home-like living environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules.
* Maintain floors by mopping, vacuuming, polishing, shampooing carpets, damp dusting, waste management and restocking supplies.
* Assist with laundry as required.
* Keep records of completed cleaning schedule duties.
* Safely store and use cleaning agents, including correct quantities for each task.
* Participate in the infection control program.
* Ensure a safe environment by not obstructing exits and passageways while undertaking duties.
* Perform other tasks not listed but within employee skills, as directed by the organisation.
Requirements:
* Training or experience in cleaning.
* A current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
* Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.
* Experience in residential aged care is desirable.
