What you'll be doing
To provide safe, timely and effective transport, including under emergency driving procedures, for patients requiring inter-facility transfer.

* Current Full Driver's Licence (minimum C) with proven excellent driving record. (RMS certification required). Applicants should have no more than one driving infringement for every two years of driving experience, and they need to be offence-free for at least 12 months prior to applying. Serious Offences: Drug and alcohol, speeding more than 45 km/h over the limit, being arrested, may be scrutinized more closely and could possibly be grounds for rejection. NETS defensive driver training is provided as part of staff training program.
* Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to maintain accurate records.
* Ability to work under direction and pressure.
* Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport, or guarantee to obtain qualification within twelve months of acceptance.
* Ability to operate a two-way radio/mobile phone equipment.
* Previous experience maintaining vehicles; including fuel, oil, water, coolant and air replenishment.
