Job Summary:
This role involves providing strategic advice to the Manager of Engineering Services.
* Support the Manager in reviewing and creating high-level documents and reports.
* Develop and review policies that guide departmental responsibilities and organisational goals.
* Provide monitoring, reporting and recommendations for strategic and operational activities and goals.
* Assist the Manager in strategic narrative and advice on departmental matters.
* Develop business cases, works programs, reports and correspondence for the Manager.
About You:
* A driven and self-motivated individual with excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
* Extensive experience in preparing or reviewing communications, including policy development, for the Department.
* Ability to monitor and report on the operational and financial performance of the Department.
* Experience identifying business improvements and project managing initiatives to enhance department outputs and outcomes with effective change management.
* Highly developed research, analytical and investigative skills, including data sourcing and interpretation.
