The Professional Liability team advises medical practitioners, accountants, engineers, consultants and lawyers on complex claims, regulatory issues and high-stakes litigation, so you’ll gain exposure to insurer-driven work, expert evidence and detailed technical matters within a well-structured and collaborative environment. The Role You'll be supporting an incredible Partner and their outstanding team of senior fee earners while working alongside other experienced Legal Assistants. The position involves high-level legal support, including: Managing file openings and maintaining electronic matter records Coordinating monthly billing, reporting and debtor control Preparing and filing court documents Assisting with briefs to Counsel and expert witnesses Diary and travel coordination Liaising with insurers, professional bodies and key stakeholders Providing day-to-day administrative support to a busy litigation team The work is fast-paced and detail-driven so organisation, initiative and confidence in managing multiple deadlines will be key to your success. About You You will have 1-2 years of experience within insurance litigation or professional negligence. Strong billing capability, attention to detail and clear communication skills are essential.
