We're growing, and we're looking for a capable, organised and hands‐on Site Manager/Works Supervisor to lead our crews and deliver high‐quality civil and rail projects across regional NSW.
The Role
Join INTENT Rail & Civil as a Site Manager/Works Supervisor and take the lead on delivering high‐quality civil and rail projects across regional NSW.
You'll coordinate crews and subcontractors, manage safety and documentation, solve problems on the ground, and keep projects moving with confidence and professionalism — all while working in a supportive team that values capability, communication and growth.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinating workers, subcontractors and suppliers to keep daily operations running smoothly
* Ensuring all activities meet Health & Safety standards and company procedures
* Managing documentation, reporting and record‐keeping with accuracy
* Leading problem‐solving and issue resolution on site
* Overseeing budgeting, cost management and resource planning
* Conducting risk assessments and managing permits
* Working closely with senior leadership to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to spec
* Supporting a positive, respectful and accountable team culture
What You'll Bring
* A strong background in civil construction or rail infrastructure
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts
* Solid technical understanding of the trade and construction methodologies
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications
* GPS experience — both in‐machine and for site set‐out
* Clear, confident communication and strong reporting skills
* A practical, solutions‐focused mindset
* Strong computer skills or willingness to learn
* Local to Bathurst or within approx. 1 hour's drive
* Ability to pass pre‐employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
* Full Australian working rights
Most of INTENT's work is based in regional NSW, therefore travel is a requirement of the position. 80% of our workload annually is performed outside of the Bathurst area, working an average of 46hrs per week. Please only apply if these conditions suit your lifestyle.
