Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of site works on complex, high-value construction projects. You’ll supervise a diverse workforce including subcontractors, trades, and labourers, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and meet program, quality, and stakeholder expectations. This role is central to site performance, risk control, and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily site operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
* Supervise subcontractors and labour across multiple trades and disciplines.
* Monitor progress against program and manage sequencing and milestones.
* Drive a strong site safety culture through toolbox talks, inspections, and compliance.
* Coordinate subcontractors to ensure scopes, standards, and efficiency are met.
* Represent the company professionally with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
Skills and Experiences:
What We’re Looking For:
* Trade qualified or equivalent site leadership background.
* 8+ years’ experience delivering complex construction projects, ideally including defence projects.
* Skilled in interpreting drawings and delivering works with accuracy and quality.
* Strong HSEQ knowledge, including SWMS and compliance leadership.
* Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficient in construction related software, such as MS Project, Procore, Hammertech and SharePoint.
* Telehandler and forklift tickets advantageous.
