About the Role
You'll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimising digital experiences across a diverse portfolio of clients. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team spanning development, CRO, UX, and performance marketing, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality web solutions that ensure best practice coding, scalability, and performance.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Development & Maintenance
Design, build, and maintain scalable web solutions across our client portfolio.
Work across CMS-driven and custom applications (Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Shopify Plus or similar).
Implement new features, integrations, and enhancements aligned with CRO and UX objectives.
Optimise site performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
* Technical Collaboration
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, CRO strategists, data analysts, and QA teams.
Translate design wireframes and user stories into clean, efficient, and reusable code.
Support technical scoping, feasibility assessments, and estimation for upcoming initiatives.
* Quality & Governance
Conduct peer reviews and maintain version control best practices (Git).
Ensure adherence to coding standards, deployment protocols, and accessibility guidelines.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across environments.
Stay across emerging web technologies, frameworks, and tools.
Contribute ideas to improve workflow automation, component libraries, and QA processes.
Support proof-of-concept builds for new eCommerce and CX initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience
3–5+ years' experience as a full stack developer within a digital agency or in-house digital team.
Proficiency in:
Back-end: Node.js, PHP, or similar
CMS: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), WordPress, or Shopify
Version control: Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket
Experience integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL).
Familiarity with agile workflows (JIRA, Confluence) and Figma.
Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, or GA4.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS, Vercel, or similar).
CRO implementation experience (A/B testing, analytics tagging).
Exposure to DTC or eCommerce environments.
Understanding of accessibility and SEO best practices.
