Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team and help build the next generation of healthcare applications. You will work on mission-critical systems that directly impact patient care and healthcare provider workflows. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while working with modern technologies in a collaborative, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and TypeScript
* Build robust backend services and APIs using Node.js
* Design and implement RESTful APIs to build robust backend services
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
* Integrate and optimize Firebase services for real-time data management
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
* Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations
* Work closely with product managers, designers, and healthcare professionals to translate requirements into technical solutions
* Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years of professional software development experience
* Strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript for frontend development
* Solid experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting)
* Proficient in Node.js for backend development
* Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
* Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control (Git)
* Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
Nice to Have
* SQL database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
* Experience with MongoDB
* Cloud platform experience with GCP or AWS, including DevOps practices
* GitHub Actions experience for CI/CD pipeline management
* Experience with healthcare technology, Health standards compliance, or regulated industries
* Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and state management libraries
* Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools
