Data Migration Program Manager
We are partnering with our client to appoint an experienced Data Migration Program Manager to lead a data migration program for financial and payroll data. This senior role requires ownership of end-to-end data migration, including oversight of ETL processes, vendor management, and ensuring data quality and audit-ready outcomes.
Role Overview
The Data Migration Program Manager will oversee the full data migration lifecycle, ensuring accurate, reconciled, and validated data is delivered across multiple migration cycles. The role involves program leadership, vendor coordination, and quality assurance for enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the data migration program from planning through production cutover
* Oversee ETL processes: extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation
* Manage migration cycles, including system integration testing, dress rehearsals, and soft launches
* Establish and enforce data quality standards, controls, and governance
* Manage vendors and system integrators to ensure accountability and timely delivery
* Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, IT, and ERP teams to resolve data issues
* Provide executive-level reporting on migration progress, risks, and readiness
Essential Experience
* Proven experience as a Data Migration or ERP Program Manager on large ERP programs
* Hands-on understanding and oversight of ETL processes for financial or payroll data
* Experience ensuring data quality, reconciliation, and audit-ready migration outcomes
* Vendor and system integrator management experience
* Strong knowledge of general ledger and enterprise financial data structures
ERP Background
* Experience with tier-one ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar)
* Familiarity with multi-phase ERP testing, cutover, and production migrations
