Support Worker
We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Northern Rivers team at Right at Home. This role offers a flexible and balanced work life, supporting people in your community to live their best life possible.
The Role:
This role involves travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
* Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
* Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
* Perform work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
Requirements:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
