Maintenance Handyperson (Full Time)

The most iconic hotel on the Central Coast is looking for a full-time Maintenance Handyperson with carpentry experience to join our Engineering team.

Hourly rate starting from $32.42 per hour, plus applicable penalties and superannuation in line with the relevant Award and legislation.
This role operates on a rotating roster, including weekends and a mix of shifts.
About the role
You will help keep our hotel looking sharp and running smoothly. From preventative maintenance to painting and repairs, no two days are the same. Your work will directly support a safe, comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests.
What you’ll do
* General maintenance including door repairs, lock changes and lighting
* Painting, patching and touch-ups to maintain presentation standards
* Minor building works including carpentry, tiling, glazing and plastering
* Basic plumbing tasks
* Grounds upkeep and daily building checks
* Respond to maintenance requests and update records
* Work safely in line with WHS requirements
About you
* Full working rights in Australia
* At least two years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality
* Flexible and available to work weekends and varied shifts
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Practical, reliable and safety-focused
