**Job Title:** Executive Assistant
**About the role:
* The APS5 and APS4 Executive Assistants will be accountable for undertaking moderately complex to complex work under general direction or limited supervision.
* The positions are responsible for providing professional administrative, secretarial and research services to members of the Senior Executive Service (SES).
* Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Providing guidance, support and quality assurance to staff at lower classification levels.
o Assisting with maintaining risk management programs.
o Maintaining a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
o Scheduling meetings, preparing reports and documents relating to committees and projects.
o Organising travel arrangements and supporting official functions on behalf of the Chief Corporate and Commercial Officer, and other agency staff as directed.
o Identifying and contributing to the resolution of issues and problems as they arise.
* The APS4 Executive Assistant will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders.
**Required skills and qualifications:
* A strong aligned working history with Government experience.
* Ability to prioritise and possess high attention to detail.
* Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
* Self-motivated and pro-active.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work within a team environment where expertise can be developed and appropriately shared.
