The Business Analysts will undertake requirements gathering and requirements traceability functions and assist with program deliverables, aligned with ASD strategic benefits.
(LH-04448)Role DescriptionKey duties and responsibilitiesAccountable for investigating business needs, problems and opportunities and documenting the findings and recommendation.Prepare or contribute to business cases, which define potential advantages and options for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes.Apply knowledge of business analysis methods and techniques to understand and articulate business processes and contribute to business outcomes.Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify their needs, reach agreement on the objectives and gain commitment to achieving results.Assess and evaluate a range of artefact such as business requirements, architecture roadmap, specifications and feasibility studies.Analyse and decompose complex ICT business problems into manageable activitiesAccountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements, share own expertise with others and guide and mentor less experienced employees.Technical skillsHolds a Bachelor degree or Diploma in business, business analytics or information technology.Ability to apply problem solving and critical thinking skills.Demonstrated experience in planning and driving scope, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives.Demonstrated experience in establishing document to articulate requirements, standard operating procedures and complex flow via diagrams and pictorial representation.Understanding of Information Technology (IT) development principles and practices.Demonstrated experience in problem solving and critical thinking.Remote provides management services and technical ICT solutions to clients across Australia.
