If so, we invite you to apply for the Tourism Development Communications Coordinator position at Redland City Council
Your responsibilities will include: Promote Tourism: Provide expert advice and support to local operators and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and promoting Redlands Coast as a premier destination Lead and Innovate: Manage the Visitor Information Centre, coordinate industry development programs, and lead a small passionate tourism team to deliver exceptional visitor experiences Enhance the Visitor Experience: Develop engaging content, itineraries, and marketing collateral across digital and print channels to showcase the region's unique attractions Skills and experience: Tourism and Marketing Expertise: Knowledge of destination marketing, industry stakeholders, tourism operations, attractions, and distribution channels to grow visitation Operational Management: Ability to manage a Visitor Information Centre, which includes managing rosters for the small team, merchandise ordering and supporting team members in daily operations Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building relationships with tourism operators, industry partners, and digital teams to identify opportunities and deliver results Event and Communication Skills: Confident, well-presented communicator who can represent the region at events, engage visitors, and work flexibly and champion visitation to our naturally wonderful Redlands Coast.
