Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week), on-site Audiologist role located in Bairnsdale, VIC. The primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing conditions, providing patient-centered treatment plans, and fitting and fine-tuning hearing aids and devices. The Audiologist will work closely with other healthcare professionals and deliver excellent customer care to help clients achieve their hearing goals. Additional duties include maintaining patient records, educating clients on hearing health, and staying updated on advancements in audiology practices and hearing technologies.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in hearing assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning
* Experience with hearing aid fitting, adjustments, and device technology
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build patient trust and provide effective counseling
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices
* Full accreditation with Audiology Australia and possession of a current Clinical Certificate of Practice
* Master's degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Previous clinical experience in an audiology or healthcare setting preferred
