About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Care Worker Coordinator to join our Community Aged Care team on a full-time fixed-term contract until January 2027. The Care Worker Coordinator provides leadership, development, and operational support to Care Workers delivering Community Aged Care services to customers. You will: Lead and support Care Workers through coaching, feedback, team meetings, and performance reviews Monitor workforce availability, leave, and rostering impacts to ensure service continuity Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Care Workers Collaborate with rostering and operational teams to optimise workforce planning Ensure customers receive safe, respectful, and person-centred care that promotes independence and dignity Respond to customer feedback, complaints, and service escalations professionally and proactively Conduct audits, spot checks, and compliance monitoring to maintain service quality Contribute to operational improvements, workforce engagement, and service growth initiatives As a key link between frontline Care Workers and operational teams, you will proactively address workforce challenges while supporting service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide supervision and support to Care Workers to ensure workforce capability, compliance, and performance Conduct regular check-ins, team meetings, feedback sessions, and quarterly performance reviews Monitor workforce availability, leave, and rostering impacts to maintain service continuity Lead staff engagement initiatives that support retention, wellbeing, and team culture Collaborate with rostering and scheduling teams to optimise workforce planning Ensure Care Workers deliver services that promote customer independence, dignity, and wellbeing Respond to customer feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally and proactively Support continuous improvement through operational oversight and quality monitoring About You 3–5 years’ experience leading, managing, or coordinating teams within aged care or community services Strong knowledge of Support at Home service delivery, compliance, and workforce planning Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and client management systems Certificate IV (or higher) in Community Services, Management, or a related field Experience in workforce rostering, recruitment, or operational planning will be highly regarded What Makes a Difference for Us Proof of vaccination status as required by legislation, health directives, or WMQ policy Relevant probity checks in line with legislation and WMQ policy Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as part of the role Join a Team Where Your Work Truly Matters Home care means something different to everyone.
