Your new company
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to oversee infrastructure development at two bulk fuel terminal sites in Brisbane. You'll act as the on-site representative for the asset owner, providing project oversight and ensuring successful delivery of the FEED stage by the contracted terminal operator. Based at the Bulwer Terminal, you'll be the key liaison between the delivery team and the asset owner, driving performance and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Your recent role
- Lead project execution and management in line with industry best practices and governance frameworks.
- Provide local oversight of delivery performance, ensuring alignment with approved execution strategies.
- Act as the primary contact for the delivery team's Senior Project Manager, managing communications and requirements.
- Monitor project scope, cost, and schedule, ensuring delivery to plan and managing variations and risks.
- Facilitate weekly project meetings to assess performance and escalate issues where necessary.
- Support monthly governance meetings, including:
- Steering Committee with the delivery partner
- Internal project governance updates
- Engage with internal stakeholders and functional teams to support project delivery.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Business and Commercial Development Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing major fuel infrastructure projects (>$50M).
- Strong knowledge of bulk fuel terminal design, construction, and operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive approach to performance and risk management.
- Must be based in Brisbane and available for on-site work.
