The Role: What You'll Do
As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing daily support to young people with complex physical or mental health needs. This may include assisting with daily routines, creating and implementing personalized care plans, and building strong relationships with the individuals in our care.
* Supporting young people with daily routines, such as self-care, school attendance, and fun activities
* Helping create and follow personalized care plans that meet each individual's unique needs
* Creating a positive, calm, and respectful home environment
* Building strong, trusting relationships with the young people in our care
* Keeping accurate records of daily activities and progress
* Using your calm approach to handle challenging situations and promote a sense of well-being

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Certificate IV in Disability Support or a related field (or studying towards it)
* Paid Blue Card
* NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
* Driver's licence
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
* LCS2 (or the willingness to obtain it)
