About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join our Head Office finance team. The role will be based in Tamworth, NSW and will be overseeing a portfolio of 6 assets. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this full-time role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities:
Management accounting:
Performing end-of-month calculations, postings, analysis, and reporting
Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
Analysing revenue and reconciling related accounts
Overseeing the transactional accounting and related postings
Assisting with audits, tax preparations, and end-of-financial-year tasks
Supporting various system configurations and implementations
Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes
Gathering and analysing data and creating financial models
Preparing ad hoc reports for both internal and external stakeholders
About you:
3+ years' experience in accounting or finance roles
Working towards or completed CPA/CA qualification
Experience in hospitality or property industry is not essential but will be favorable
Intermediate or advanced MS Excel skills
Exposure to trust accounts, mid-tier ERP system, Point-of-sale systems and understanding of merchant services will be looked upon favorably
A proactive and adaptable individual who can switch contexts seamlessly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
A passion for continuous learning and a growth mindset
Interest in technology, systems, and integrations, especially with tools like PowerBI
