As a skilled Draftsperson, you will play a pivotal role in producing accurate documentation and collaborating with consultants to support better project delivery. Your expertise in residential construction and proficiency in ArchiCAD will be crucial in delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Completing all allocated drafting tasks within agreed deadlines while proactively resolving drafting matters with your manager
* Commissioning reports and technical information with external consultants and following up to ensure timely delivery
* Contributing to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials for cost or quality advantages
* Liaising with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Advanced ArchiCAD skills with demonstrated experience in residential drafting
* At least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing construction documentation
* Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design highly regarded
* Proven ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues
A strong understanding of residential construction principles, practices, and technologies is essential for this position.
