The role involves land care operations in and around Mine Site areas including vegetation control, mowing, brush-cutting, spraying and chainsaw operations during weekdays Monday to Friday. Operations occur in the Singleton Shire area and will occasionally occur in Muswellbrook. Training in the use of a remote controlled slope mulcher/mower will be required. Candidates possessing NSW Drivers Licence, Chainsaw, and Chem Cert qualifications will be considered favourably. Previous experience in mine site operations will also be beneficial.
A current driver's licence is essential for this role. A truck licence will be an advantage.
Moderate physical fitness is required for this field work position.
Chainsaw and Chem Cert qualifications can be obtained after hiring.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo and Order 43 medical for NSW Coal Mine workers (Soon to be replaced by Order 45 in 2026), and Mine-site onboarding.
The position will commence as a casual role and will move into a permanent position as a 35hr per week minimum after a successful, short trial period.
