This role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on HR and administration experience in a hybrid environment, while contributing to meaningful projects that make an impact in internal organisation. Working closely with senior team members, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and volunteer engagement. It's a great way to build your skills in a supportive, multicultural setting while expanding your professional network.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs the People & Culture Assistant, you will:Assist with end-to-end recruitment, including drafting job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.Assist with the preparation and administration of 3-month probation reviews and exit interviews.Liaise with Department Hiring Managers to ensure position descriptions are accurate and hiring needs are met.Support onboarding procedures by preparing offer letters and volunteer with the People & Culture Team Leader to coordinate inductions for new volunteers.Collaborate with the Training & Development Team Leader to support focus groups and in-house training sessions.Maintain and update volunteer records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in our HR administrative support for weekly tasks, team projects, and internal social events.Contribute to People & Culture initiatives that enhance the volunteer experience across CLCN.Why volunteer with CLCNJoin South Australia's grassroots talent incubator for international students.Be part of a recognised not-for-profit with 8 years of impact, 90+ volunteers, and 300+ events delivered.Gain practical experience in program coordination, event management, and team your professional network across universities, government, and multicultural communities.To apply: Send your CV and a short paragraph about your interest in the role to or apply directly via LinkedIn.
